It h...Borders is the author of its own destruction. It had a business model that was suitable for the 80s and they never updated it. B&N is still a going concern as a bricks and mortar store with a strong web store and the Nook. Borders never adapted itself to the change in media to digital delivery. They got into eBooks too late and relied on third-party technology as their delivery system. Even MS couldn't make that work with the Zune.<br /><br />Give yourself a break. You didn't kill Borders, it killed itself and you were a helpless bystander. (Remember, too, that Borders was once itself the culprit in the downfall of the independent bookstore.
